Today we will be carrying out some preparation work on digester number14 (towards the southwest corner of the site) in advance of cleaning workstarting on the 21st of April 2008.

The cleaning work is expected to last for 2 weeks. We would like to apologise for any increase in odour while we carry outthis essential maintenance work.

We have had a sludge spillage in the digester area, towards the southwestcorner of the site owing to plant failure.


Teams are working hard to clean up the area.

The clean-up should becomplete within 24 hours.

We would like to apologise for any increased odour that residents mayexperience.

This is so we can carry out some maintenance work, which is expected to last for 1week.
