PostSubject: Relaxing on the River   Wed Jul 04, 2007 2:27 pm

Yesterday the Hounslow and Isleworth Charity took the residents out for there annual trip.

We took them by coach to Runnymead (Nr Windsor)

The coach made the first pick up at 0920 from Priory Court Hounslow and the 2nd from Raybell Court in Isleworth around 30 residents attended including 3 Trustees (inc myself) and the Clerk of the Trustees.

We got to Runnymead just after 1045 and soon got on to our waiting boat "The Windsor Royal" for a 2 and half hour round trip of the river.

We passed lots of sites and beautiful houses including 1 house owned by the owner of Internet company trail finder and the old cottage where the late Fantastic actress Beryl Reid lived with loads of cats (honeypot cottage)

We went threw Windsor Lock and pass the Crown Estate and took in the fantastic sights of Windsor castle before doing the return trip back up the river to Runnymead.

We had a beautiful lunch on board which was all paid for by the Charity (the whole Day out)

We left Runnymead around 145pm and returned back to our 2 destinations to drop everyone home.

It was a fantastic day out and Everyone enjoyed themselves.
